The city and urban society are Trancity's field of activity, in which spatial-physical aspects are always linked to economic, cultural, and social perspectives. Since 2012, Trancity and Valiz have been closely collaborating as trancityxvaliz. We have a shared view on the function of publications. trancityxvaliz books and programmes provide critical reflection on the city, on urban development and renewal, and on the public domain, with a specific focus on the connection with social, cultural and economic issues.
Trancity and Valiz share a common understanding regarding the function of publications. Our books offer critical reflection, interdisciplinary inspiration, and establish a connection between cultural disciplines and socio-economic questions.
